Flowers in October: Thousand Flower Himalayan Yellow Sage

Image2013-198 Banner2Right now, that’s my name for this Himalayan yellow sage (Salvia nubicola – I also call it Nubi for short). It’s still in massive blooming mode, the flowers constantly visited by bumblebees and the whole bush (it really has become a huge bush for the first time this year) a great humming song. Here is Nubi amongst the still abundant sunflowers and California poppies in the middle of the garden…
